Broad and inclusive for all levels and experiences, CougStrong at UREC considers any physical or unknown contingency!

Whether you are new to fitness or have been a regular patron, CougStrong is for everyone! We scale our WODs (Workouts Of the Day) for both beginners and experienced individuals and guide all patrons toward fitness and fun!

Jumpstart: This beginner-focused, week-long course includes lecture, discussion, and coaching on foundational movements.

Intro: CougStrong, Intro classes are beginner-focused with an emphasis on slow progression and movement coaching.

Pass: The purchase of a CougStrong Pass gives all-inclusive access to all scheduled classes throughout the week, not including Jumpstart or Intro.

CrossFit, Jumpstart is our “on ramp” program intended to give first-timers the essentials of CrossFit in preparation for regular classes. This beginner-focused, two-week course includes lecture, discussion, and coaching on foundational movements. We encourage everyone to attend 4 out of 5 classes in the first two weeks of Session 2 (October 18-29) before purchasing the CrossFit Pass. Separate registration required for CrossFit, Intro classes and the all-inclusive CrossFit Pass.
