Washington State University CrossFit is a national CrossFit affiliate. CrossFit is broad, general and inclusive fitness that seeks to prepare participants for any physical or unknown contingency. Classes are designed for those who are seeking to get fit, have a great time, or even compete in the sport of CrossFit. Our WODs (workout of the day) are scaled to your fitness level and appropriate for both beginners and the experienced CrossFitter.  

To participate in CrossFit, you have options:   
  1. Get started with CrossFit Jump Start! This is a week-long beginner focused course with the new CrossFitter in mind.  This is a fast on-ramp to CrossFit with lecture, discussion, and coaching the foundation movements of CrossFit. This 5-day course gives you everything you need to be ready to enroll in the Washington State University CrossFit Pass system. Can’t make it to all 5 days of JumpStart? Join us every Saturday and Sunday for skill and intro focused weekend classes. All levels welcome!
  2. Purchase the Washington State University CrossFit Pass. The Pass will allow you to attend an unlimited amount of CrossFit classes! Pass holders may attend classes in facilities in which they are members; SRC members may attend classes in Stephenson Fitness Center, Chinook members may attend classes at the Chinook.
  3. Register for an Intro to CrossFit course. These classes are eight weeks long and meet twice a week at a reduced cost from the Pass option. The days of the week depending on which section you register for, please see below for specific days and times. Intro to CrossFit classes are beginner focused with an emphasis on slow progression and movement coaching. We offer Introduction classes in the Chinook, and the Stephenson Fitness Center, as well as a Women's Only section!
  4. Purchase a CrossFit Punch Card. You can get a punch card for 1 class ($8), 5 classes ($40) or 10 classes ($80). If you are not a Chinook member you'll also need to purchase a day pass ($10) each day to use the facility. CrossFit Punch Cards are available for purchase at the front desk in Chinook. 

Spring 2020 Fitness Session 1 Class Registration Open

Registration for Spring 2020 Session 1 fitness classes is open December 1, 2019 - February 1, 2020. Spring Session 1 classes will run January 13-March 8. Join us for FREE classes during All Access Week, January 12-19. Classes will run as scheduled on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 20th and President’s Day, Monday, February 17th.

Purchasing the CrossFit membership will allow you to attend an unlimited number of Washington State University CrossFit classes. A Chinook membership is required to purchase a CrossFit Pass. The CrossFit pass does not include membership or provide access to facilities for non-members. If you would like to participate in CrossFit for the entire Spring Semester, you will need to purchase the CrossFit pass for both Session 1 (1/13-3/8) and Session 2 (3/9-5/3). Receive a $10 discount and FREE gift for purchasing both sessions online at checkout. Stop into the Chinook to receive your free gift. Please note that classes will run as scheduled on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 20th and President’s Day, Monday, February 17th. All Spring Session 1 classes start on January 13th, but all classes are FREE during All Access Week, January 13-19. Free Fitness FriYAY! Mom's Weekend: Mom & Coug CrossFit

This FREE WSU CrossFit class will be a great workout for both mom and Coug. If you have never participated in a CrossFit class, or you are a seasoned veteran, come join us in the Chinook at 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday, April 4 for a great workout that will get the blood moving! Registration is not required to participate, but helpful for us to prepare! Please come dressed in clothing you can workout in. Moms can access the SRC or Chinook with their WSU Student free during Mom’s Weekend. If you are sneaking away while your WSU Student is in class, purchase a $12 Special Event Weekend Pass for access to the SRC or Chinook for Thursday-Sunday. If you are only visiting for one day during your visit, you may purchase a single day pass for $10. To participate in a program offered at the SRC or Chinook, non-members will need to purchase the special event weekend or single day pass if not accompanied by their student.
